Baby loss, pregnancy and fertility issues

I work with people who have experienced baby loss, including miscarriage, ectopic pregnancy and still birth. I also specialise in working with people going through pregnancy or fertility issues and IVF.

Baby loss can have a huge impact emotionally, and you may be experiencing grief, anger, envy and fear. Therapy focuses on processing the loss, and any trauma, and supporting with ongoing difficulties such as depression and anxiety.

Experiencing pregnancy difficulties, fertility issues and IVF can be an anxious and physically draining time, and sometimes it has a negative impact on relationships. These experiences can feel lonely and the sense of responsibility may weigh heavily, so therapy can be an important source of support while you’re going through treatment, managing a difficult pregnancy or processing the outcome of IVF.

It can be hard, particularly if partners, friends and family don’t seem to fully understand, and therapy can help by providing a supportive space to explore what you’re going through, and your unique experience. By talking about what’s happened, painful emotions can be heard and understood, and may begin to feel more manageable.
